ABT- Athletic Based Training: Lower Body Workout for AthletesThis week's program is very simple and can be utilized by athletes ages 14+. The chains are optional and this workout can be effective without.
Bench Pause Squat 4x5 combined with Regular Bench Squat 4x5
Hip Thrust is next and really helps to develop posterior chain and explosiveness through the hips. Perform 4x10
Following HT it's BB RDL to isolate the hamstrings.
Next, we get a little more athletic with Hurdle High Knee Skips 4x10. Try to create a rhythm as you execute the movement.
Once complete it's time for some sled conditioning 6x50 yards.
